Glittering Gold was created as a place to enrich and enhance the lives of women. We believe all women are gold and should be valued as such. Whether you’re a mother, a wife, a sister, or a daughter, your value is priceless. You’ve heard the saying, all that glitters is gold, but the reality is just the opposite.
Often times with the way people portray their lives, our natural instinct is to feel like we don’t live up to their value. The truth? You are just as valuable. Don’t let the world tear you down. Our mission is to help you reach your potential, walk with confidence, and enrich your life, no matter the stage. Our goal is to add glitter to gold one post at a time. We’ll provide the glitter, you provide the gold.
Meet the Lady
Now, let’s talk about me.
I live for my daily dose of Dr. Pepper. It’s a terrible (and beautiful) habit. It’s to the point that the person working at my favorite soda shop knows my name, soda order, and phone number (for free soda points of course) every time I visit. Should I be embarrassed?
Utah is where I call home. I live in loungey clothes, enjoy binging on Netflix, spending too much money online shopping, and late night Instagram stalking. I also have a husband called Braden (I call him B), and dog named Kai.
B is the logical, analytical, and supportive part of my existence. And Kai? He is my best friend, companion, the love of my life… you get it.
Okay, okay. I have some substance to me too. I’m a marketing professional for a digital marketing firm based out of Boston. I work remote so I get to spend copious amounts of time with my pup when I’m home! I received my bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in public relations and marketing and I love what I do. On the weekends, you can bet we’re traveling. We love exploring in the outdoors and traveling to new places. We also like boating, jeeping/rzr riding, climbing, canyoneering, camping, and occasionally hiking (if I haven’t eaten too much McDonalds that day.)
I like to spend my free time doing home projects and nagging B to help out. I also enjoy decorating for holidays, raising my chickens, and gardening. I love trying new things and meeting new people and I’m excited to get to know you!
Connect with me on social media, and let’s be friends!
And remember, not all that glitters is really gold.
